Jamie is a former NHL draft pick of \ the New Jersey Devils. He played in the National Hockey League with Boston, Calgary, Tampa Bay, Vancouver and Washington. He played 14 years of professional hockey and was always a highly respected defenseman and truly an impact player. Jamie played his junior hockey in the Western Hockey League for the Portland Winterhawks, Seattle Breakers/Seattle Thunderbirds and with the Medicine Hat Tigers, where he won a Memorial Cup.
Jamie is a former Assistant Coach with the Spokane Chiefs of the Western Hockey League and was hired as a coach just one year removed from playing in the NHL. He also coached Team Washington in the Chicago Showcase Tournament which represented the top Junior and Senior High School players in the nation.
Jamie’s 14 year pro hockey career are a testament to his diligent work ethic and his unparalleled knowledge of the strength and conditioning techniques required not only to be an NHL hockey player, but a world class athlete as well.
